The recent bombings in Lebanon have left a trail of devastation with 569 people dead, including 50 children and almost 100 women, while more than 1,800 have been wounded. Communities have been shattered as survivors are left to grapple with the overwhelming loss.

Thousands of families fleeing southern Lebanon are unsure where to find safety as bombardments hit Beirut. Fear and confusion are rampant. Innocent civilians have been left homeless and traumatised, desperately needing shelter, food and medical care. Hospitals are overwhelmed and the road to recovery is long.
